I'm seriously looking into starting a gluten-free plan for my family. Do you have a section on your recipe blog that contains these items or are they immersed throughout the website recipes?
we do not have all the GF stuff in one place on the blog at this post if you search Gluten free you will get this result http://recipeswelove1.blogspot.com/search?q=gluten+free and it all the gluten free stuff... still a pain to go through. most of my recipes are able to make GF.
Wanted to let you know I made your Southwest Salad last night, & it was a big hit! I made my own Ranch dressing because I didn't have any, & I will probably never buy the ready-made kind again...lol! I also added cherry & pear tomatoes, because we have them coming out of our ears around here! It was a great hot-weather supper for the two of us. Thanks! CAS
Hi Ann Kelly and Amber, my name is Maria M Triana. I love all your recipes so much that I would like to try some and featured on my blog, but giving the link back to here and the full credit to your site and name, as the original source, as I always do with everything I try and publish. Thank you very much for your time, kind consideration and for the excellent recipes you bring to us. My email address is mary11637@yahoo.com
You may find this a real surprise, but there are LOTS of people out there that don't follow the same religion as you and consequently, don't want it shoved down their throats from a website they otherwise weren't expecting it from. (it's a recipe blog, ffs) As an example, I would have otherwise followed this site/blog and shared it with others, as the recipes and other ideas in here are really good, but plastering that religious crap all over the header really puts off more people than you'd think.
Is it really necessary? You're driving off a lot of people that way, including me. Just thought I'd mention it, as you'd be amazed at how religious sorts think that it's their god-given duty to announce what their faith is as loud as possible and to as many people as possible and try to "convert" them to their way of thinking.....and telling them they're destined for hell if they happen to not agree.
Those that are secure in their belief system see no need to announce it to the world. It should be something very personal and private, not announced at every opportunity like a two dollar whore.
I'd really like to share this site, but the people I'd be sharing it with would find your header rather offensive. I hope that you at least consider this with an open mind before you no doubt delete it and pretend you never read it. It'll help towards a better blog, and a better respect for others.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave comment but will not be removing the scriptures from our blog. We love the Lord and are not afraid for people to know it. We have people of various religions that do follow our blog. We do not have something about God or scripture in most of the post we do but we did want it at the top of each page. We are Christians first and foremost and our blog is to express who we are and to share our recipes. We also believe that we should give all glory to Christ.
Could you consider posting calories and how many people the meals will serve when you post them? I am on a diet and I count my calorie intake, and this would be so much easier if I knew ahead of time how many calories was in a serving. If this wouldn't be too much trouble that is :)
We have looked at a couple programs to added calories etc. but have not found them to very reliable, but it is something we are working on . Thanks for the comment
