Pretzel Salad





This is an all time Favorite at my house, it is my Husbands favorite, while it does take some planning it is so worth.

Crust
2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cups butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar

Topping
2 cups pineapple juice
1 6oz. package strawberry Jello-O
20 0z. frozen strawberries thawed.


Filling
1 cup sugar
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz cool whip

Crust: Mix pretzel, butter and sugar in bowl. Press into greased 9x13 inch dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. cool.

Topping: Bring pineapple juice to boil. Stir in Jell-O until dissolved. Add Berries (I blend my berries in the blender first but you don't have to). Chill until partially set

Filling: Cream sugar and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Blend in cool whip. Spread over pretzel crust. Top with strawberry mixture and chill until Jello-O is set completely.

  1. AK....I also love this but have never used pineapple juice. Sounds yummy.
