Roasted Chickpeas --- GREAT Snack and salad topper


This is a GREAT snack, salty, spicy, and crunchy all my favorites and NOT FRIED! Once you start you can't stop eating these. They are also great on top of a salad. 


 Chickpeas canned or Cook your own
olive oil

house seasoning (garlic salt, black pepper, & salt)
cayenne pepper



On a rimmed cookie sheet or baking dish lay your chickpeas drizzle some olive oil and the seasoning to your taste over the chickpeas. Then shake or mix everything together until the chickpeas are coated with the oil and spices. Then make sure they are in a single layer on your baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, I stir them  once or twice, until they are nice and crunchy.
